We are raising funds for The Teddy Love Club Program www.teddyloveclub.org.au. All funds raised will ensure bereaved families can be supported after the devastating loss of their baby from miscarriage, stillbirth or neo natal death. By way of support, TLC donates Bereavement Resource Packs and Teddy Bears to bereaved parents to assist them with their loss.

Sadly our beautiful little girl Bella Di Fiore died in utero at 26 weeks gestation. She was delivered peacefully sleeping into the world on 21 December 2010. We were fortunate to have cuddled Bella in our arms for a short, precious time, however it was heartbreaking to leave Bella behind in the hospital.

The Teddy Love Club Program gave us a Teddy Bear and a Bereavement Resource Pack to take home from the hospital. This pack provided us with valuable information on the grieving process, planning for Bella’s funeral and advice that has helped us to deal with our loss. To this day the Teddy Bear sits on our bedside table in memory of our little girl and in memory of the little girl of the family who donated the Bear to us.

Teddy Love Club Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support

Teddy Love Club Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support is an Australia wide support program for bereaved families who suffer the loss of their baby or babies at any time during pregnancy or after birth. This includes miscarriage, stillbirth, termination of pregnancy for foetal abnormality and neonatal death.

The TLC program is the original bear giving program in Australia established 26th October 2002 in Adelaide. TLC operates in every state of Australia with the program provided to every maternity hospital across the country. TLC is leading the way in providing support, guidance and comfort to bereaved parents, their families and friends.

TLC donates traditional Teddy Bears to bereaved parents, in the hope the bear may help to ease the pain of leaving the hospital with such aching empty arms. We hope to provide parents with the comfort of knowing they are not alone right from the beginning, and offer significant ongoing support understanding to bereaved parents, their families and their friends.
