On the 15th October 2008, our lives were changed forever when our beautiful daughter Charlize was born sleeping.  

Losing our precious daughter is something we will never forget and the heartache that comes with that stays with us forever.  Since then both Kevin and I volunteer our time to help Teddy Love Club help other bereaved families.

For the month of March, TLC is holding a 'sponsor a resource pack' campaign.  We hope to raise funds so that resource packs can be provided to bereaved families around Australia in memory of our angel ~Charlize~. 
These packs provide families with important information and support during their time of need and it is vital that we continue to raise funds so these packs are available to every family who needs them.

Any donation, no matter how large or small, is appreciated and for every $20 raised, a resource pack can be given to a family.

    Teddy Love Club Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support

Teddy Love Club Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support is an Australia wide support program for bereaved families who suffer the loss of their baby or babies at any time during pregnancy or after birth. This includes miscarriage, stillbirth, termination of pregnancy for foetal abnormality and neonatal death.

The TLC program is the original bear giving program in Australia established 26th October 2002 in Adelaide. TLC operates in every state of Australia with the program provided to every maternity hospital across the country. TLC is leading the way in providing support, guidance and comfort to bereaved parents, their families and friends.   

TLC donates traditional Teddy Bears to bereaved parents, in the hope the bear may help to ease the pain of leaving the hospital with such aching empty arms. We hope to provide parents with the comfort of knowing they are not alone right from the beginning, and offer significant ongoing support understanding to bereaved parents, their families and their friends.
